This weekend (Friday through Sunday) is the Alkmaar Culinair. What is the Culinair you ask? Well, let me tell you! The Culinair is a food festival situated on the Waagplein where you can sample food from some of the city’s best restaurants. There is also live music and DJ’s to keep that party atmosphere going!
Tickets start from €10 per person and kids under 10 years are free. Special tickets for the whole weekend are also available. You can buy tickets online at http://www.alkmaarculinairplaza.nl/tickets/
Food and drink is purchased via tokens (munten) which are purchased at the festival.
It is worth noting that there is no Cheese Market this Friday 8th September because of the Culinair! But have no fear, there are still three Cheese Markets left this year (September 16/23/30).
There is a fair bit of rain forecast for this weekend, but don’t let that stop you! A bit of rain won’t stop the Dutchie’s from partying!
See you there!
